ABOUT MOUNTAIN LAKES

Welcome to Mountain Lakes Ranch! This rapidly growing community is conveniently located 45 miles southwest of Fort Worth in Bluff Dale, Texas. The beautiful historic towns of Granbury and Glen Rose are each a short 20 minute drive, as is Stephenville (home of Tarleton State College).

Amenities within the Mountain Lakes Ranch development include lakes for fishing and boating, pool, clubhouse, RV park, small boat storage facilities, community activities and so much more! Spectacular Views

Mountain Lakes Ranch is an area of natural beauty with spectacular hill country views.

Stunning Community Pool

Our pool has a beach style entrance for easy access to the water.  The eight foot deep pool has several swim outs.  Shaded area with benches and fans adjacent to the pool.  Cabana area has tables and a fan.  Lounge chairs enable you to be in that perfect tanning position.

Private Boat Docks

Beacon Lake is primarily for recreation use.  Boating, sailing, canoeing or jet skiing are all enjoyed and the Association dock is large enough for at least six crafts.  Anglers Cove is the 45 acre fishing lake and has a fishing dock next to the ramp.

MOUNTAIN LAKES AMENITIES

The property owners association is proud to offer amenities for each owner to enjoy.

BEACON LAKE

This approximately 100 acre lake is used primarily for boating but does grow some nice bass.  It is open from sunrise until 10:00 pm and the owner ramp is adjacent to the swimming pool and park.

CLUBHOUSE

Our clubhouse is located at the main entrance next to the lighthouse and may be rented by owners and non-owners.  It includes tables, chairs, BBQ grill, picnic tables and a kitchen.  Application can be found in owners portal.

POOL

Our 60,000 gallon pool has a depth of 8 foot on one end and a beach style entrance on the other, shaded area for non-swimmers and picnic tables in the cabana area.  The park and playground is located between the swimming pool and Beacon Lake.

RV PARK

Located on Skyline Drive.  Each space has power, water, picnic table and fire pit.  Owners or their guest may stay free for short stays and long term for a small fee if your house is being built.

ANGLER'S COVE LAKE

This fishing lake has plenty of sport fish in the 45 acres.  Fishing dock allows even the newest fishermen the chance to catch perch and small bass.

BOAT & RV STORAGE

This fenced area is provided for owners to safely store any trailer, RV or boat at no charge.  Covered storage spaces are available for a fee.  Medium building spaces are 10’ wide, 14’ tall and 40’ deep.  Large building spaces are 12’ wide, 14’ tall and 50’ deep.  Application can be found in owners portal

KAYAK AND CANOE RACK

Our newest amenity is a covered kayak and canoe rack adjacent to the boat ramp on Angler’s Cove.  Application for owners can be found in owners portal

SKYLINE PARK

Located next to the RV Park.  A walking path of almost a quarter mile includes outdoor exercise equipment and covered benches.  This family friendly park is a work in progress as future projects are being considered.

COMMUNITY GARDEN

Coming in 2017 – this amenity will be located between the RV Park and Skyline Park.  Contact the Management Co if you have interest in this project.

MOUNTAIN LAKES PROPERTY OWNER ASSOCIATION BOARD

The Board of Directors are voted on by the property owners. They volunteer their time to ensure the operation and sustainability of the community as it relates to the Mountain Lakes Property Owners Assocation.

David and wife Erika have been property owners since 2011. David is a law enforcement professional and Erika taught elementary education for 16 years.

Tracy and husband Chris moved to Bluff Dale in 2015.
They both run the Bluff Dale Animal Hospital, where their motto is: “Our family helping yours.`` Tracy and Chris have two beautiful daughters as well as horses, dogs, cats, a rat, 5 gold fish and a hermit crab.

Treasurer
Jerry and wife Michelle have been owners since 2008. They built in 2010 at which time he joined the board as the Director of Amenities and then took over the Treasurer duties in 2011. Jerry is a banker for InterBank and Michelle is the owner of Pathways Early Autism Intervention, based in Bluff Dale. Jerry is also a member of the Bluff Dale Volunteer Fire Department, a Trustee for the Bluff Dale Independent School District and works with the youth at the Erath County Jr. Livestock Show.

Andrea Wood moved to Bluff Dale with her husband six years ago. They have three children that attend Bluff Dale ISD. Andrea Wood and her husband, Leslie, own and operate AJT Safety, LLC. with offices in Bluff Dale and Midland TX.

Director of Amenities
Drew and his wife Jana along with their two children moved to Mountain Lakes in the Fall of 2009 from Justin, Texas. Drew has been very active in the community currently serving on the POA board, the Bluff Dale ISD School Board, Assistant Chief at the Bluff Dale Volunteer Fire Department as well as an active participant of the neighborhood watch. Drew is self-employed as a project manager in commercial construction.
